Justin Nash has always been passionate about the sound, feel, and unique singing tone of the piano. Growing up listening to great performances of Romantic piano music, especially Chopin, has helped shape his own singing style and develop an instinctive sensitivity to harmony. As an experienced performer, accompanist and piano teacher in Edinburgh, he is looking to inspire new students and draw inspiration from fellow musicians in fruitful collaborations and projects. A versatile musician, Justin is equally at home with music of the great masters or hits from Broadway, playing in a recital, or accompanying a rehearsal or cabaret.

Justin is a fantastic piano teacher. Ollie (11) and Ruby (13) have been having lessons with Justin for a number of years now. What makes Justin stand out as a teacher is the preparation, work and effort he puts into his lessons. Ruby and Ollie can both read music fluently. He has taught them technique and how to really put emotion into their music.
Justin isn’t one of those teachers who simply makes them work through a lesson book. He writes music for them and creates arrangements so they can then play the music they enjoy too. He’s held small concerts for his pupils, so they have the experience of performing which is wonderful.
